Fulbeck Craft Centre and The Crafty Cafe have reopened after a major renovation project over the Christmas period.
The Crafty Cafe has increased its inside seating capacity considerably with a previously hidden fireplace revealed and a wonderful log burner installed in the new cosy “Tack Room ” area, complete with comfy new sofas.
There are new gallery areas for local artisan’s work to be featured as well as a brand new area for visiting artisans to run classes, check our website for details. The same area is used for drop in Craft@theCentre sessions on Wednesday mornings, where people are welcome to bring their own crafts and chat over complimentary coffee and tea for 2 hours, 10am – Noon.
Cosy New “Tack Room”
The Cafe and Centre continue to run with ethical and sustainable principals at their heart and our chef produces amazing, delicious and unique food, whilst holding onto our values of zero waste and local sourcing wherever possible.
We have a fabulous new potter who is making, and running workshops, a revamped workshop for silver jewellery making classes and sales and our resident turner and penmaker has relocated within the courtyard, so there is a great creative vibe about the entire centre.
In addition to all of this our monthly Artisan markets run every 2nd Saturday of the month from March – December promoting a host of local makers, designers and producers.
