Funhouse Comedy Club brings another great line-up of comedians to Grantham Railway Social Club on Thursday April 30th.

Topping the bill is musical stand-up Richard Morton, who has supported Jack Dee, Lee Evans, Jo Brand, Lily Savage and Phill Jupitus on tour as well as having many TV credits to his name. This livewire Geordie comic is full of surprises and frantic energy, bounding around the stage like an overgrown child on a massive sugar rush and then entertaining his audience with his hilarious songs.

Opening the night will be the charming comedian, actor and writer Alistair Barrie. Travelling all over the world to perform he has appeared at the world’s highest gig on a mountain in France and on a boat in the middle of the North Sea. With his riotously acerbic, achingly funny diatribe he persuades his audience to be part of his world, leaving them wanting for more.

Also appearing is Aideen McQueen, one of the brightest sparks in the new generation of Irish comics. She’s sassy, sexy, saucy and side-splittingly funny.

Completing the line-up will be Aaron Barshak, self-styled “comedy terrorist”. In 2003, he attracted media attention by gatecrashing Prince William’s 21st birthday party, jumped on stage dressed as Osama bin Laden and reportedly kissed the prince on both cheeks, before being arrested.

Compere for the night is the cheerful and energetic Spiky Mike.
