Park House is a grade II listed, self-catering cottage in the picturesque village of Harlaxton, with four bedrooms to sleep up to eight adults/children as well as two infants. Two dogs are also welcome and free and there’s a large enclosed cottage garden.
We’ve been welcoming guests from both near and far since 2013, providing a spacious and comfortable home from home in which families and friends can enjoy spending some time together.
While staying, many a guest has enjoyed a fine meal at The Gregory pub in the village, a wonderful walk in the wider grounds of Harlaxton Manor, and all the excellent attractions both on our doorstep and beyond.
We’ve also helped local families with stays in between house moves and tenancies, while house renovations or insurance repairs were taking place, and people who need a local place to stay while working.
There’s a fully-equipped kitchen, a large lounge with plenty of sofa seating plus dining area for eight alongside, plus a separate snug. All the bedrooms can be kings upstairs with a super-king downstairs, or two bedrooms can be organised as twins. In addition, we provide a full-size cot and travel cot for infants. There are two shower rooms, one upstairs and one downstairs which has grab rails in the shower and near the WC, plus a bathroom upstairs too.
As well as welcoming returning guests who come back year after year, it’s always especially interesting to meet and chat to visitors from afar. We’ve welcomed guests from all over the globe including Canada, Australia, United States, Germany, Switzerland, Argentina, Malta and South Africa, often in connection with seeing local friends and family, weddings and other celebrations.
