Belvoir Castle, the historic estate near Grantham, is seeking garden designers to take part in a highly regarded competition happening during its Flower and Garden Show.
Taking place on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th July and in its eighth year, the show is looking for 15 designers to compete to win ‘Best Countryside Border’. Open to anyone involved in garden design, horticulture and landscaping, the competition is supported by the London College of Garden Design and celebrates planting design and showcases new garden designers and horticulturists in their careers.
To submit a design, applicants should submit one A3 page and include an outline drawing of their idea, including an elevation of the planting design and brief description of the narrative, as well as a mood board showing the plants they’ll use. Entries should be submitted by Tuesday 15th April, and successful applicants will be notified with plenty of time ahead of the competition in July.
