Easton Walled Gardens is delighted to host a special beginners Indian Block Printing Workshop this September, led by Isabela Streeter, founder of Haveli Diaries. A brand rooted in traditional Indian craftsmanship and inspired by the beauty of nature.
Set against the backdrop of Easton’s historic gardens, the workshop invites participants to explore the centuries-old technique of block printing and its rich cultural heritage. Guests will begin with a guided introduction by Isabela, who will share the fascinating history and ongoing legacy of block printing in Indian textile traditions.
Using hand-carved wooden blocks and drawing inspiration from the floral motifs found throughout the gardens, attendees will learn to print their own cushion cover. A one-of-a-kind piece to take home. The session offers a rare opportunity to engage with a traditional craft in a setting that celebrates seasonality, sustainability, and artistic heritage.
This hands-on workshop is open to all levels and includes all materials. Tickets are £65 per person and spaces are limited.
Ample parking, spacious grounds, good disabled access to most of the gardens, assistance dogs only.
