The first hosted walk on June 5th will mark 82 years since aircraft of America’s 9th Troop Carrier Command took off carrying elite paratroopers from the US Army’s 101st and 82nd Airborne Divisions to Normandy on the eve of D-Day
The second walk is on June 18th, with both guided by military heritage specialist Brian Riley.
The walks last around two and a half hours and start at 5.30pm from the main Twyford Wood car park, off the A151 Colsterworth to Bourne Road.
