Easton Walled Gardens is delighted to welcome back the very popular ‘Sausage Stroll’, inviting dachshunds of all shapes and sizes to explore the gardens. Taking place on Sunday, 30th August from 4:30pm to 6:30pm, this exclusive after-hours event allows dachshund owners and their beloved pets to meet up and walk the beautiful grounds once the gardens have closed to the public.

The Sausage Stroll is the culmination of Dog Days at Easton throughout August. Every Sunday in August, from 11am – 4pm, dogs of all varieties are given a warm welcome, alongside their owners, and encouraged to enjoy the gardens and receive a doggie treat in the courtyard cafe.  

August is a great time of year to visit Easton. Visitors and their four-legged friends will find much to discover as the rose meadows hum with pollinators and lazy bees enjoy the floriferous Pickery, where late-summer cut flowers proliferate.

Guests will also be able to observe the creation of the brand-new Fountain Garden. Built to celebrate 25 years of the estate’s remarkable restoration and to remember those who served in the World Wars, the new garden provides a stronger design for the entrance, restoring the grand sense of ‘arrival’ that visitors would have felt when the original Hall was still standing.

The gardens are open five days a week from Wednesday – Sunday.
