Funhouse Comedy Club returns to Grantham Railway Social Club on Thursday June 19th for another night full of laughter.

Topping the bill is slightly camp, middle-class funnyman Hal Cruttenden. Having a background in professional acting he has made numerous TV appearances, including ‘Live at The Apollo’, ‘Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow’, ‘The Royal Variety Performance’, ‘The Rob Brydon Show’, ‘Let’s Dance for Comic Relief’, ’Would I Lie To You’, ’Sunday Night at the Palladium’, ‘Mock The Week’, ’The Great British Bake Off – Extra Slice’, ‘Celebrity Squares’, and Pointless Celebrities. With his ability to mix the personal, the surreal, the ridiculous and the political he delivers an energetic and absorbing performance.

Opening the night will be the jaunty and engaging Danny Ward, winner of ‘Amused Moose Laughter Award People’s Choice’ at the Edinburgh Festival. Regular opening act on Mark Simmons theatre tours. Entertaining the crowds with his wonderful observations and amusingly sharp comments, his laid-back style and extraordinary structure of words are a breath of fresh air.

Also appearing is the affable and laid-back Joseph Emslie, with his clever wordplay.

Completing the line-up will be Jake Breeze with his surreal observational style comedy.

Compere for the night is the amiable and animated Spiky Mike.
