Sunday 22nd June & Sunday 13th July. 2pm to 5pm.
Enjoy a walk in a 27 acre meadow which has 22 different species of wild flowers. This year we are opening on two Sundays: one in June and the other in July. There should be different species flowering on those two dates. Open in aid of Stoke Rochford Church.
Paths are cut in the field, the perimeter walk is about 1.5 miles, with shorter routes cut within the field. Unfortunately it is not accessible to wheelchairs, but mobility scooters can travel with care in dry conditions. You may see many different species of butterflies, bees, moths, and other insects. It is also a quiet haven for many songbirds, especially skylarks, yellowhammers, flycatchers and goldfinches.
Dogs will be allowed but must be on a lead. A cup of tea and a cake included in the ticket price. Brief introductory talks will be given to groups.
£10 per head and children under 15 go free.
