Barrowby Church is excited to host and coordinate a series of events for The Great Big Green Week (GBGW), the UK’s largest celebration of community action for climate and nature. Here in Barrowby we are doing our bit because by making small, positive changes together, we can build a greener, safer, and fairer future for all.

Throughout the week we will be supporting a number of local activities such as bike rides and wellbeing walks.

On Saturday 14 June we will be hosting Barrowby’s first ever Eco-Fair where there will be activities for the whole family to enjoy from a bike repair workshop to churchyard trails as well as talks about bees, bats, and butterflies.

Lots of community groups will also be in attendance so there will be plenty of opportunities to support them and get involved. Taking positive action for the climate and nature is part of as part of our mission as Christians and All Saints is very excited to be part of GBGW in Barrowby.

On Sunday 15 June we will be hosting an outdoor service at All Saints Church Barrowby. Visit https://www.wggv-churches.org.uk/churches/barrowby/great-big-green-week-2025-7-15-june-2025.php for updates and ways to get involved.
