Syston Park Farm Shop & Café, just outside Grantham in Lincolnshire, sits in picturesque parkland and doubles as a family-run farm, PYO fruit field, and welcoming countryside café. The business has been in the Clegg family for decades, with the café and shop established in the early 2000s following earlier fruit-growing activity. Visitors come for locally grown strawberries, raspberries, gooseberries, rhubarb, and seasonal asparagus, with pick-your-own available in summer, plus autumn pumpkin patches and festive Christmas tree weekends.

Inside the shop, customers will find fresh fruit and vegetables straight from the farm, local cheeses, Lincolnshire plum bread, game pies, jams, free-range and organic eggs – even goose and quail when available. A deli counter showcases regional producers, and shelves feature a hand-picked array of local cordials, ice creams, confectionery, and bottled presses.

The café offers hearty breakfasts, light lunches, classic afternoon tea with homemade cakes, flapjacks, and scones. Menu specials often use the farm’s own produce, such as asparagus soup in spring or fruit-topped desserts in summer. Sundays are particularly special with a popular roast lunch. Outdoor courtyard seating, a wraparound veranda, and a children’s play area make it well suited for family visits and relaxing countryside stops.

Seasonal events bring the farm to life – strawberry picking becomes a family outing in June and July, while October sees children searching for pumpkins and visitors choosing cut-your-own Christmas trees. Occasional themed food evenings hosted by the farm chef, such as monthly supper nights, give diners a chance to sample innovative dishes in a convivial setting.

Conveniently located off the A607 between Grantham and Belton, the farm shop operates Tuesday to Saturday, with shorter hours on Sundays and closed Mondays. Free on-site parking and dog-friendly outdoor spaces add to its appeal. Syston Park Farm Shop blends farm freshness with community warmth, making it a beloved local destination and a tasty snapshot of Lincolnshire living.
