Syston Park Farm Shop & Café, just outside Grantham in Lincolnshire, sits in picturesque parkland and doubles as a family-run farm, PYO fruit field, and welcoming countryside café. The business has been in the Clegg family for decades, with the café and shop established in the early 2000s following earlier fruit-growing activity. Visitors come for locally grown strawberries, raspberries, gooseberries, rhubarb, and seasonal asparagus, with pick-your-own available in summer, plus autumn pumpkin patches and festive Christmas tree weekends.
Inside the shop, customers will find fresh fruit and vegetables straight from the farm, local cheeses, Lincolnshire plum bread, game pies, jams, free-range and organic eggs – even goose and quail when available. A deli counter showcases regional producers, and shelves feature a hand-picked array of local cordials, ice creams, confectionery, and bottled presses.
The café offers hearty breakfasts, light lunches, classic afternoon tea with homemade cakes, flapjacks, and scones. Menu specials often use the farm’s own produce, such as asparagus soup in spring or fruit-topped desserts in summer. Sundays are particularly special with a popular roast lunch.
